Hazardous Waste Management (RCRA)

This is an 8-hour training program designed for both new and previously-trained employees and addresses both the state and federal hazardous waste regulations applicable to generators.  It is specifically designed to instruct employees in the requirements as they pertain to generating and accumulating hazardous waste in Maryland and therefore integrates the Maryland-specific Department of the Environmental (MDE) requirements of COMAR 26.13.

Hazardous waste training is required annually for “fully-regulated” generators (which include federal SQGs and LQGs) in Maryland.
